Payment card details are entered into and processed by our payment processor (Stripe) and reservation system (Newbook) — see "Payments" below.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring links, through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To take and manage reservations, process payments, and provide the services you request.
- To communicate with you about your reservation, stay, account, billing, and customer-service questions — by phone, email, or text message.
- To send you informational or promotional messages where you have opted in to receive them.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and our park.
- To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Text messaging (SMS) & mobile information
When you provide your mobile phone number — for example by giving it to us when booking, completing a form on this website, or replying to one of our messages — you may receive text messages (SMS) from Westhaven RV Park related to your reservation, your stay, billing and account notifications, and, where you have agreed, occasional informational or promotional messages.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are never required to agree to receive marketing text messages in order to book or stay with us.
- Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending text messages, except as needed to complete a transaction you have already started.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

- Service providers who perform services on our behalf — such as our reservation/property-management system (Newbook), our payment processor (Stripe), messaging providers, and website hosting — and who are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, staff, or the public.

Payments
We process reservations and billing through Newbook, our reservation and property-management system, and card payments through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. When you make a payment, your card details are transmitted to and handled by these providers under their own security standards and privacy policies. Westhaven RV Park does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems. We receive only the information we need to manage your reservation and account, such as confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Data security & retention
